for now. it actually sounds good w/ a piano:
Bass: Mike Dirnt Precision Bass (Squire)
Amp: Peavey 10 Watt, normally with Vintage/Tube emulator turned way up
Bassist: Jimmy, your not-so-typical teen girl who also sings (and if needed, is the background vocalist)

Welcome.
Background Noise is the brainchild of an Arizonan pianist - Riley - and a Californian punk rock bassist - Jimmy. The mission is simple -- to put the most understated instruments in rock/punk/most music in the spotlight.
The first song they composed as a team was a rendition of "¿Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl)" by Green Day off the album 21st Century Breakdown, using only the pianist's by-ear playing and heavily modified bass tabs.
Thus far, they haven't composed an original song, but it's in the works.
